What You'll Do
- Take ownership of active eminent domain cases from start to finish depositions, motion drafting, discovery, and trial preparation.




- Assist public clients in the legal aspects of property acquisition, including valuation, just compensation, and procedural planning.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, oppositions, and other court filings that address nuanced legal and factual issues.- Participate in strategic case planning, client communications, and settlement negotiations.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and potentially bench or jury trials in complex takings cases.

What You Bring
- 2-5 years of solid litigation experience ideally in real estate, infrastructure, or condemnation law.
- Demonstrated skill in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case strategy.- Experience working with or representing public agencies or local governments is a strong plus.
- Excellent legal writing skills and an ability to simplify and communicate complex property issues to courts and clients alike.
