Bilingual Legal Contract Analyst

On site Colombia (Medellín)

Schedule: 09:00 - 18:00

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field (MUST)
- 2+ years of related experience at a law firm or in-house legal department or other legal background/experience
- Conversational english level B2+
- Experience extracting, relaying, and understanding information from contracts, including but not limited to the meaning of legal clauses and their impact
- Some experience with delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with Adobe Reader and MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio)
- Experience with Smartsheet is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze signed agreements (e.g., securities purchase, employment, restrictive covenants, leases) identifying bilateral and multilateral obligations (dates, costs, type)




- Manage data rooms as needed for external and internal transactions
- Support and assist in inter-departmental initiatives that require documentation as requested
- Work with legal, finance, and accounting departments to standardize and expedite the communication and execution of obligations. - Partner with different members of the team to provide guidance and facilitate execution of complex post close financial disbursements
