As our Controller, you will be the backbone of Midfield’s financial. You will oversee all corporate and property-level accounting, manage regulatory reporting, and provide the high-level insights needed to guide our executive team’s decision-making across our real estate portfolio.

What You’ll Do
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, and Revenue Recognition for a diverse real estate portfolio.
- Real Estate Oversight: Manage property-level financials, escrow accounts, and property tax filings.
- Reporting: Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated reports for real estate assets.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to protect company assets.
- Budgeting & Strategy:



Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on property performance and portfolio growth.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Industry Knowledge:Experience in Real Estate accounting is a major plus (specifically Property Management, REITs, or Real Estate Development).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, or other real estate software is highly advantageous)
- Proven ability to manage complex workflows and teams in a distributed, remote environment.
