The purpose

The Software Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of software products and services across the organization. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, vendor compliance, license optimization, and alignment with business, IT, legal, and security requirements. The position plays a key role in vendor negotiations, and contract management.

In this role, you will oversee design, development, implementation and maintaining of the global category plan and category insights by analysing historical and projected spend, contractual relationships, and industry trends.

Principal Responsibilities- Lead the procurement lifecycle for software, SaaS,



cloud subscriptions, and related services- Develop and execute software sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, renewals, and service level agreements ( SLAs )- Manage vendor relationships and act as the primary commercial point of contact for software suppliers- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, Cost Management, Software Asset Management, Security, and business stakeholders to assess requirements- Ensure compliance with licensing, contractual obligations, and internal procurement policies- Oversee software renewals, and cost-saving initiatives- Maintain accurate records of contracts, licenses, and procurement activities- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor performance- Support audits and risk management related to software usage and procurement
