We are looking for a Senior Dispatcher to join our team in Medellín (On-site). This role is responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments in real time, confirming on-time pickups and deliveries, and independently resolving operational issues within our transportation management platform.
What you'll do in this role:
- Provide real-time location updates for shipments in progress (Track & Trace)
- Confirm on-time pickups and deliveries
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Respond to customer emails and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Price, quote, and secure carrier capacity for ad hoc shipments
- Manage shipment documentation (BOLs, PODs, and more)
- Maintain accurate shipment data in TMS and Excel
What we're looking for in a Senior profile:
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics/transportation
- Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues independently
- Strong judgment on when to escalate a situation
- Greater proficiency quoting, booking, and securing coverage for ad hoc shipments
- Experience handling complex situations with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, chat)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
