We are searching for a Senior Automation Engineer to become part of our team.
In this position, you will steer the automation testing strategy and mentor a group of engineers toward producing high-quality outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping testing approaches and ensuring smooth alignment with modern development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Set the overall test strategy across all automation activities
- Configure tools and prepare the setup needed to support automation initiatives
- Expand the existing Katalon Studio framework to broaden its capabilities
- Author detailed test cases covering critical functional areas and scenarios
- Suggest efficient solutions to testing challenges and process improvements
- Run test cases and track their results across execution cycles
- Produce user-friendly test reports to provide stakeholders with clear visibility
- Connect Katalon automation reports with Polarion to enable centralized tracking
- Validate custom keywords used inside automation frameworks
- Deploy the setup required for smooth automation operations




- Define clear test processes that the team follows in a consistent manner
- Outline roles and responsibilities within the automation team
- Educate team members on automation frameworks and recommended best practices
- Guide and support the team throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Enable the handover of automation work and knowledge to the wider team

Requirements
- No less than 3 years of hands-on professional experience in automation engineering
- Background in automation testing integrated with DevOps pipelines
- Applied implementation of automation using Katalon Studio and Appium
- Practical involvement in unit testing and UX testing activities
- Working understanding of TDD and BDD frameworks for structured test creation
- Experience operating within fast-paced Agile environments
- Broad knowledge of Katalon, Bitbucket, GitLab, TeamCity, and Source Tree
