Overview

Join our growing team as a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager! In this fast-paced role, you will manage personal insurance accounts from start to finish, including renewals, new business quoting and binding, and ongoing policy servicing.

Prior insurance experience is not required. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is sharp, highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and enjoys working directly with clients.

The idóneo candidate takes ownership of their work, provides excellent customer service, manages multiple deadlines effectively, and follows through to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Duties

- Manage an assigned book of personal insurance accounts, including renewals, new business, and servicing.
- Handle personal lines coverage including Homeowners, Dwelling Fire, Auto, Umbrella, Renters, and other personal insurance products.
- Review upcoming renewals and proactively obtain updated information from clients.
- Gather applications, property information, driver and vehicle details, loss history, and other information needed for quoting.
- Complete carrier applications and online quotes accurately and efficiently.
- Compare carrier options for pricing, coverage, deductibles, and important policy terms.
- Prepare and present insurance options to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Handle the binding process and confirm policies are issued accurately.
- Manage new business opportunities from initial information gathering through quoting and binding.
- Handle day-to-day policy servicing, including endorsements, adding or removing vehicles and drivers, mortgagee changes, coverage changes, cancellations, reinstatements, billing questions,



and other client requests.
- Respond to client calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding items until completed.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive and proactive service.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverage when appropriate, such as Auto, Umbrella, or additional properties.
- Prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.
- Take ownership of client issues and work proactively to resolve them.

Qualifications

- No prior insurance experience required – training will be provided.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Professional and confident when communicating with clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Insurance, office, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus, but not required.
- Positive, accountable, and team-oriented attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
