Case Processing Assistant

Modality: Remote (Home Office)

Pay: $1,200 USD per month

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

Quiroga Law Office, PLLC is an immigration law firm founded in 2009. We represent clients nationwide in matters involving asylum, citizenship, family immigration, visas, deportation defense, TPS, green cards, waivers, and consular processing. We are a law firm for immigrants, by immigrants.

About the Role The Case Processing Assistant supports the preparation and organization of immigration cases. This position drafts documents, reviews case information, identifies missing or inconsistent details, communicates with clients, and ensures that case materials are accurate and complete before review by the Case Coordinator.

This entry-level opportunity is designed for recent university graduates with advanced English proficiency, excellent writing skills, and strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a law firm or immigration is not required. We particularly welcome candidates beginning their professional careers or with backgrounds in academic, administrative, research, customer service, or document-focused environments.

Responsibilities

- Draft letters, forms, declarations, briefs, and other case-related documents.
- Review client information and supporting documents for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify missing information, documentation errors, inconsistencies, and pending items.
- Assemble and organize case packets for review by the Case Coordinator.
- Request, verify,



and follow up on required information and documentation.
- Conduct introductory calls with clients and document relevant information accurately.
- Communicate with clients and provide clear, timely, and respectful updates.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records, and status updates in the internal system.
- Provide English and Spanish interpretation during client meetings when needed.
- Escalate unresolved matters to the Case Coordinator.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Follow internal procedures and established quality standards.

Requirements

- Completed bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, or International Relations. Current students will not be considered.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 required), with excellent writing, speaking, and reading comprehension skills.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Strong document-drafting and information-review skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Strong organization, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Clear, respectful, and professional communication with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
- Full-time availability during Pacific Time business hours.
- Reliable home office setup.

Computer Requirements

- Operating system: Windows 11.
- Memory: 16 GB DDR4 RAM or more.
- Processor: Intel i5 10th generation or newer, Intel i7 6th generation or newer, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher.
- Stable internet connection suitable for remote work, video calls, and daily use of digital platforms.
