Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications within the Railroad industry. This role requires deep expertise across both backend and frontend technologies, with the ability to build scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The idóneo candidate has a strong engineering background, experience working across the full software development lifecycle, and a passion for delivering innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications.
- Build and support microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
- Develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployment strategies.
- Document technical solutions and support knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Partner with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to implement and maintain secure, scalable environments.

Required Qualifications:





- Proven experience developing enterprise applications using Go, Python and Angular.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and SDLC best practices.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation effectively.
- Knowledge of Policy as Code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA) and HashiCorp Sentinel.
- Experience implementing governance and validation controls for Terraform deployments.
