We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Fleet Asset Protection & Safety Analyst to support our regional transportation operations. This role is responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of PriceSmart fleet trucks and drivers across 14 countries, providing real-time support and first-level detection and response for Safety, Security, Compliance, and operational events.

You will monitor fleet activity through GPS, telematics, dash cameras, and other platforms, identify potential risks or exceptions, apply established protocols, support drivers and local teams during incidents, and escalate critical situations to the appropriate teams. Your ability to remain calm, act quickly, analyze information, and follow procedures will be essential to maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)

Fleet Monitoring & Control Tower Support

- Continuously monitor fleet trucks and drivers using GPS, telematics, dash cameras, and other monitoring platforms.
- Track vehicle locations, routes, stops, times, and trip compliance.
- Identify driving alerts, route deviations, unauthorized stops, abnormal movements, and other operational exceptions.
- Monitor downtime, delays, connectivity issues, and other events that may impact fleet operations.

Safety, Security & Incident Management

- Apply established Safety, Security, Compliance, and operational protocols.
- Provide immediate first-level support during accidents, emergencies, breakdowns, and other critical situations.
- Classify events according to their level of risk and escalate critical situations to the appropriate teams.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, local teams, and other areas involved in incident management.
- Document incidents accurately, including timelines, actions taken, communications, and resolution.




- Follow up on incidents through closure and ensure appropriate handover when required.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Prepare and review reports related to fleet monitoring, incidents, exceptions, and operational performance.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Control Tower.
- Identify recurring events, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide relevant information and recommendations to the Supervisor to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)

- Professional, technologist, technical professional, or final-semester student in Systems, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in transportation, fleet monitoring, logistics, Control Tower, monitoring centers, or related operations.
- Experience with GPS, telematics, dash cameras, or fleet monitoring platforms is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Safety, Security, Compliance, and incident management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and experience preparing reports.
- Knowledge of Power BI is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to follow established protocols and respond appropriately to urgent or critical situations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
- Intermediate English level (B1/B2) is desirable.
- Availability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
