We’re looking for a CyberSecurity Manager ready to become the first dedicated security hire, build a security program from the ground up, and lead the organization toward SOC 2 Type II certification while strengthening cloud, application, and healthcare security.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Own the cybersecurity program and drive SOC 2 certification , from readiness and gap assessment through Type I and Type II.
- Strengthen AWS cloud security , including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail, KMS, VPC, WAF, and access controls.
- Build and automate security controls using Terraform and scripting .
- Own compliance monitoring and evidence management while maintaining security policies, access reviews, and risk registers.
- Partner with Engineering to strengthen application security, Secure SDLC, vulnerability management, SAST/DAST, and CI/CD security .
- Maintain HIPAA security and PHI protection requirements within a healthcare SaaS environment.
- Lead incident response planning, security tabletop exercises, investigations, and remediation efforts.
- Support security questionnaires, RFPs, audits, and customer-facing security conversations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:





- 5–7+ years of cybersecurity experience with meaningful hands-on ownership.
- Deep practical experience securing AWS production environments .
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform , and scripting for security automation.
- Experience taking at least one SOC 2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, or similar compliance audit from gap assessment through the issued report.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI security within SaaS environments .
- Experience with cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, and application security.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, risk assessment, and communication skills.
- English level: B2+ (required).

BONUS for CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISA , healthcare/behavioral health SaaS experience, HITRUST, 42 CFR Part 2, or previous experience as a first security hire. WHY JOIN US?
