The Senior Backend Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance backend APIs and services using C# and .NET technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of software architecture patterns and experience in developing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
The adecuado candidate has extensive backend development experience, solid knowledge of API design, and a background in financial or similarly regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services using C# and .NET
- Implement architectural patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Message Queuing
- Build and optimize REST and RPC-based Web APIs for scalability and performance
- Ensure system reliability, security, and high availability across distributed environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient backend solutions
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practice implementation
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, focusing on code quality and system design
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
- Solid understanding of CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Message Queuing patterns
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and RPC-based services
- Proven ability to build and run secure, scalable, and highly available systems
