Background

The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) is the official export credit agency of the Republic of Korea. It supports international trade, investment, and economic development through financial cooperation with partner countries.

KEXIM administers the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), the Government of Korea's concessional loan program. Through the EDCF, KEXIM finances strategic infrastructure and development projects in partner countries.

The KEXIM Bogotá Office oversees EDCF operations and financial activities across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), including Colombia, Bolivia, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and other partner countries.

Position Overview

The KEXIM Bogotá Office is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to support the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure projects in the LAC region.

Duties and Responsibilities





Under the supervision of the Head of Office, the ODA Specialist will perform the following functions:
Communication and Coordination
- Provide Spanish-English interpretation during meetings with government counterparts and project stakeholders
- Translate documents between Spanish and English, including official correspondence, reports, and project-related materials
- Draft meeting minutes, summaries, and official communications
- Support the organization of meetings, missions, workshops, and official visits
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logístical support for delegations

Project Monitoring and Support
- Monitor the implementation progress of EDCF-financed infrastructure projects
- Maintain regular communication with government agencies and executing entities
- Review key project documentation, including feasibility studies, loan agreements, procurement documents, and progress reports
