We’re seeking a highly skilled Criminal Defense Paralegal to support a U.S.based law firm focused on New Jersey criminal cases. This is a full-time, remote position requiring strong experience in criminal defense, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with criminal case preparation, filings, follow-up, and trial readiness.
- Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, including motions, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
- Maintain organized case files, schedules, deadlines, and client communication across active criminal matters.
- Manage Clio case management updates and ensure all records, tasks,
and documents are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with clients, courts, prosecutors, and external stakeholders, providing bilingual support (English/Spanish) as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in criminal defense (mandatory).
- Experience with New Jersey criminal procedures (strongly preferred).
- Strong drafting, writing, and document management skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint (required).
- Ability to work in a full-time, remote setup during U.S. hours (Eastern Time).
- Stable internet + professional home work setup required.
