At Prysmian, we are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the role involves providing technical support and ensuring the availability and reliability of plant equipment.
Main responsibilities
Carry out the activities indicated in the work orders and maintain the physical plant and equipment in good condition Report any irregularities found in the operation of machinery or support equipment Perform corrective maintenance, participate in preventive maintenance and support industrial assemblies. Comply with established safety guidelines and promote safety at work. Comply with the environmental programme and the use of chemical substances Comply with the Matrix of Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities in relation to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Keep workstations and workshops in good order and clean, complying with the 6S culture.
Who are we looking for?
- Electromechanical technician/technologist
- More than 2 years' experience
- Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming,
industrial fieldbuses, instrumentation and control systems
- Electrical/electronic maintenance, programming language (Java, Visual Basic), pneumatics, hydraulics.
- Handling and control of hazardous energies. Industrial assemblies.
- Certification for working at heights and CONTE card (or equivalent)
