Field daily quote requests from customers who are interested in growing or working with the company.
- Analyze costs from multiple agents to ensure that the quotation provided to the customer is the most competitive, and determine the best service options for their request.
- Organize, delegate, and manage quotes assigned in the CargoWise dashboard, ensuring that all inquiries are received, confirmed, and actioned within agreed timelines.
- Obtain and manage regularly updated origin costs for Ocean and Air services to be used for quoting or bidding requests.
- Compare costs for certain lanes and requests against carrier rates by utilizing their online spot platforms.
- Act as an extension of the Sales team and Customer Success department to ensure that quote requests are complete and understandable, achieving the best possible rate/service combination.
- Analyze, prepare, and complete all bid requests. Arrange calls with stakeholders to discuss, consult, and make recommendations for strategy, selling, and margin levels
