In our innovative environment of Technology and Manufacturing, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The idóneo candidate will play a key role in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of automation solutions, demonstrating expertise in PLC, Control systems, and hardware installations in production lines in the manufacturing industry.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installations in alignment with project requirements. Configure and manage network installations to support automation systems.
- Implement strategies defined by the Solution Architect for production line optimization and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technical resolutions and enhancements for manufacturing processes.
- Configure and manage automation systems,
ensuring they align with established best practices and industry standards.
- Instrument machines according to defined best practices, optimizing data collection for analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure effective integration and communication across manufacturing systems.
- Conduct regular system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring proper utilization of implemented solutions.
- Document all implemented solutions, configurations, and changes for future reference and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
- Proficiency in electrical installations, and network configurations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proven experience in implementing manufacturing solutions and automation systems.
- Knowledge of PLC communication protocols Simiens, Rockwell and Beckoff .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
- Flexibility and availability for travel to client sites as needed for project implementation and support.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in system configurations and documentation.
