We are currently seeking a a Data Platform Engineer with experience in enterprise search, content indexing, and information retrieval platforms to support the implementation and optimization of Coveo-based solutions. The ideal candidate will design and manage data ingestion pipelines, metadata structures, indexing strategies, and search experiences that enable users to quickly discover relevant business information across multiple enterprise systems. Coveo implementation projects commonly involve data integration, content indexing, search relevance tuning, and AI-powered discovery capabilities. to join our team located in Colombia or Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain data ingestion and indexing pipelines within the Coveo Platform.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data sources including SharePoint, Salesforce, CMS platforms, and internal repositories.
- Configure metadata, schemas, field mappings, and content enrichment processes.
- Develop scalable indexing strategies to ensure data quality and discoverability.
- Optimize search relevance through query pipelines, ranking strategies, and machine learning models.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams to understand information access requirements.
- Monitor search analytics, user behavior, and platform performance metrics.
- Support enterprise data governance and content lifecycle management initiatives.
- Troubleshoot indexing, synchronization, and search performance issues.
- Contribute to AI Search, Generative AI,



and Knowledge Management initiatives leveraging Coveo capabilities.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform, Search Platforms, or Information Retrieval solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise search technologies such as: Coveo, Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucidworks, Algolia
- Strong understanding of: Data ingestion, Metadata management, Data modeling, Indexing architecture and Information retrieval concepts
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data quality, governance, and security best practices.
- Advanced English Skills (B2/C1)
