Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst for Benchling serves as the technical administrator and developer for the Fujifilm Life Sciences Solution organizations' Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and related laboratory platforms. Operating within a regulated biotech environment, this role provides technical expertise, consultation, and operational execution. Leveraging a background in biology, this analyst understands scientific workflows and acts as a technical partner to the IT Business Partners, ensuring the execution of the digital strategy and meeting business needs with tailored scientific processes.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Configuration
- Serve as the primary technical resource for Benchling, leading system configuration tasks.
- Manage user provisioning, role-based access control, workspace setup, and registry configuration in alignment with IT standards.
- Execute the configuration of templates, workflows, and schemas based on functional specifications defined with IT Business Partners.

Technical Development & Integration
- Develop, test,



and maintain scripts, API integrations, and data pipelines connecting Benchling with other laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, instrument software) and enterprise data platforms.
- Partner with Data & Analytics to ensure data flows into governed datasets and semantic models.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of new feature implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Support & Compliance
- Provide Level 2/3 operational support, acting as the technical escalation point for functional troubleshooting and system incidents.
- Collaborate with the Lab IT and Quality/CSV teams to support GxP/Part 11/Annex 11 readiness, participating in validation execution and maintaining ALCOA+ principles within the platform.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration runbooks.
