The Product / Performance Marketing Lead ultimately owns the performance and evolution of elev8's marketing product. This person sits across SEO, content, web/CRO, local, analytics/attribution, and paid performance. They don't need to be the strongest specialist in every discipline, but they need enough depth, commercial judgment, curiosity, and authority to determine whether the overall strategy is right, and to challenge specialists when it isn't.
This is not a Head of SEO role in disguise. SEO is an immediate execution requirement, not the ultimate definition of the seat. The long-term goal is to build a fulfillment organization that is increasingly self-sufficient,



so the role is much closer to Product Manager + Performance/Growth Marketer than a traditional SEO leadership title.

Core Responsibilities
Marketing Product Ownership
Own marketing performance and strategic direction across a portfolio of behavioral health clients
Translate business goals, capacity, lead quality, and admissions data into marketing priorities
Identify opportunities, performance gaps, and emerging problems before they become obvious
Improve the systems, processes, and standards behind how the marketing product is delivered
Help evolve the product as technology and AI change what great marketing execution looks like
SEO Strategy & Hands-On Execution
Own content strategy, SEO prioritization, and technical/on-page/local/off-page audits
Drive audit implementation and follow-through, working directly with technical resources on fixes
Conduct page and content QA agains
