Job Description

The SDET / Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for manual testing as well establishing and executing the automated testing strategy supporting the modernization of enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10. This role will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead to build scalable test automation frameworks, improve software quality, and ensure reliable releases throughout the project lifecycle. The SDET will play a key role in validating application functionality, reducing regression risk, and supporting continuous delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Participate in manual testing and manual testing best practices to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.




- Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
- Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
- Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
- Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
- Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across both development squads.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including (automated) test plans, test cases, test results, defect tracking, and release readiness.
