We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Product Owner with 3+ years of experience in financial products, who thrives in cross-functional environments and ensures successful delivery through structured backlog management, sharp analytical thinking, and close collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.

About the Role

As Product Owner for Core Banking at Blossom, you will own the roadmap and delivery of our core banking migration product a modern Node.js platform replacing a legacy Java system used by Credit Unions across the U.S. You will work at the intersection of financial operations, engineering, and stakeholder management to ensure each module we ship is accurate, compliant,



and operationally ready for our clients. You'll be responsible for modules that handle critical banking processes: transaction reconciliation, card exception management, posting, reversals, and more. This means you need to deeply understand how money moves and what happens when it doesn't.

This role requires someone who can turn complex core banking logic into clear user stories, manage multiple stakeholders across the U.S. and Colombia, and drive a phased migration that Credit Unions depend on daily.

What You'll Do
- Own the product backlog and roadmap for core banking modules, prioritizing features based on business value, technical dependencies, and client impact.
- Translate core banking workflows (reconciliation, posting, reversals, card processing) into precise, actionable user stories for the engineering team.
