Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of plumbing systems: domestic cold/hot water (including hot water recirculation), sanitary and vent,
storm/roof drainage, fuel gas, and specialty/process plumbing as required.
- Develop basis‑of‑design, calculations (pipe sizing, pressure loss, pump sizing), schematics/p&ids;, riser diagrams, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
- Produce coordinated BIM/CAD deliverables in Revit and AutoCAD; perform clash detection and resolve interfaces with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection.
- Define reliability and maintainability strategies (e.g., redundancy, isolation/valving, access/maintenance, leak detection, monitoring).
- Lead QA/QC reviews, design reviews, risk identification/mitigation, and change control across project stages.
- Support procurement and construction: review submittals, respond to RFIs, evaluate value‑engineering options, and provide field/commissioning support.
