As a Contract Specialist I at ICON, you will facilitate the negotiation and management of contracts with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and support the execution of clinical trials and research projects.
What You Will Do:
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating and drafting contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and monitor contract-related budgets, ensuring cost control, financial accuracy, and alignment with project and organizational goals
- Reviewing and analyzing contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify contract risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Providing guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters.
- Maintaining accurate contract records and documentation.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant contract management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in contract management, site payments, or a related role within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environment.
- Exposure to clinical trial processes, including site agreements, budgets, and payment cycles (e.g., investigator grants, milestones, reimbursements).
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/clinical systems is preferred but not required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
