We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to manage accounting operations and strategic administrative support, with the opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and Owner to improve financial processes, build systems, and support the company’s continued growth.

Job Highlights

Salary: $1,500–$1,800 USD/month, depending on experience | Performance-based bonus

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and Accounts Payable
- Manage payroll processes for general contractor staff
- Handle accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Support customer billing and collection activities
- Assist with account reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and month-end close processes
- Build and improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows as the company grows
- Partner with the CFO on financial and operational projects
- Provide administrative and executive support to the Owner, including setting up accounts and handling key administrative tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and create better systems




- Take increasing ownership of the accounting function with the goal of growing into an Accounting Manager position

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits, AR, AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, and financial statements
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Strong written and spoken English (C1 preferred)
- Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based customers and team members through phone, video, and email
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strategic mindset and genuine interest in improving processes, not just completing tasks
- Ambition to grow professionally and take on greater responsibility over time

Side Note This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
