We're on the hunt for a Senior Java Backend Developer to engineer scalable, high-throughput backend services and APIs powering products relied upon daily by thousands of working professionals. You'll collaborate within an agile squad to architect secure microservices, boost system reliability, and produce clean, thoroughly tested code — join us to help construct resilient backend infrastructure

Responsibilities

- Architect scalable backend services leveraging Java and the Spring Boot framework
- Construct RESTful APIs supporting both mobile and web application needs
- Build microservices that are secure, dependable, and optimized for strong performance
- Fine-tune database schemas and refine data access layer implementations
- Connect with external APIs and integrate third-party platform capabilities
- Partner with engineers, product managers, QA specialists, and architects to bring solutions to completion
- Diagnose issues occurring in production environments while enhancing scalability and system reliability
- Produce clean, easily maintained, and thoroughly tested code aligned with established best practices
- Contribute to system design conversations, participate in code reviews,



and weigh in on architectural choices
- Enhance delivery workflows through CI/CD automation and ongoing engineering process improvements

Requirements

- Three or more years of professional experience developing software
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of REST API design principles
- Deep expertise in microservices-based architecture
- Experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate or similar persistence framework technologies
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum team settings
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-resolution capabilities
- Effective communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency at B2 level

Nice to have

- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Background working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing OAuth2, Single Sign-On, JWT, or comparable authentication mechanisms
