Key responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain the canonical FinOps data models (unit economics,
cost structure, margins, and pricing) that do not exist today, so the
business has consistent, reliable financial metrics to decide from.
* Establish and document the single source of truth for the business's
financial metrics,
aligning definitions across teams so everyone reports from
the same numbers.
* Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate the relevant sources
(ledger, payments/collections, billing, credit-origination platforms, cloud),
so the financial models are fed complete and up-to-date data.
* Implement data-quality tests and validations at the transaction level before
models feed decisions, keeping the numbers behind business decisions
trustworthy.
* Automate the reporting, reconciliations, and FinOps processes that are manual
today and own the operational cadence (periodic closes and recurring
deliverables), reducing manual work and freeing the team for higher-value
analysis.
* Build, maintain, and evolve the metrics dashboards for stakeholders and
handle ad-hoc data and financial-analysis requests from the areas that depend
on FinOps.
* Establish the business baseline and its ETA, define and monitor the
