About the Opportunity

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;) Associate Attorney to join its corporate transactional practice.

This opportunity is designed for an attorney with 3–6 years of law firm M&A; experience, including significant experience with private-company acquisitions and private equity transactions.

The position offers sophisticated transactional work, meaningful deal responsibility, and direct interaction with clients.

What You'll Do
- Handle mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and related corporate transactions
- Work on private-company M&A; and private equity transactions
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and related transaction documents
- Conduct and manage due diligence
- Coordinate transactions from initial diligence through closing




- Manage significant portions of transactions
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants

Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of M&A; experience at a law firm
- Significant private-company M&A; experience
- Experience with private equity transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience managing substantial portions of transactions
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction, or eligibility for admission
- Strong academic credentials
