LTL Coordinator Jr
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Operations Specialist to support our U.S.-based trucking and drayage operations. This role is responsible for managing direct transportation operations, ensuring accurate load entry, real-time and timely client communication, and complete billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatching shipments to carrier partners via TMS (API/EDI), internet website, or phone.

• Perform daily “In Transit” audits for delays and issues, and communicate status updates to customers.

• Confirm carrier pickups and coordinate follow-up on missed or delayed pickups.





• Assist in researching billing issues related to duplicate/incorrect TMS information or other errors causing billing discrepancies.

• Take inbound communications (calls/emails) from customers or vendors to resolve customer service issues related to quoting, booking, dispatching, tracking, and managing pickups and deliveries — including the shared UFPT Operations inbox and incoming customer phone calls — ensuring timely response, follow-up, and resolution of operational inquiries.

• Perform a backup role for quoting transportation services to customers.

• Assist with various other administrative and clerical duties as part of the Operations Team and in collaboration with other departments as needed.

• Maintain accurate shipment documentation, operational notes, and communication history within the TMS.
