Our entrepreneurial teams are empowered to innovate, act nimbly, and create a lasting and sustainable impact for our clients, their customers, and the communities in which we live.With us, you’ll create a boundless impact that transforms your career—and the lives of people across the world.Visit .You AreThe Senior Portfolio Lead / Portfolio Lead - DSD is a senior contract-to-hire role accountable for the strategic, operational, financial, and governance health of an assigned divisional or functional portfolio.The OpportunityLead and/or matrix-manage a large team of Project Managers and Program Managers assigned to the portfolioSet expectations, review delivery quality, unblock escalations, and coach PMs on executive-ready delivery disciplineBuild trusted relationships with divisional/function IT leaders, PMO leadership, business sponsors, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Quality/Regulatory, site leaders, vendors, and PM teamsPortfolio Strategy & GovernanceMaintain a clear view of approved AOP scope, active delivery, carryovers, deferred work, walk-ins, unfunded demand, and portfolio prioritiesRun monthly/quarterly portfolio governance cadence, maintain decision/action logs, enforce portfolio hygiene, and ensure portfolio data is leadership-readyOperate as the portfolio operations right-hand to the assigned IT leader; keep governance, stakeholder communication, risk visibility, and decision preparation movingEnsure compliance with governance frameworks and leadership review cadencesFinancial Stewardship & ReportingAssist in managing IT CapEx and OpEx portfolios, including budget, forecast, actuals, variance, AR/CAR status, funding source, and rest-of-year outlookPrepare senior leadership reviews with concise narrative, portfolio health, financials, key risks, decisions required, and recommended actionsUse IT Planview, Engineering Planview, AOP/Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Excel, Power BI, and other systems to build a credible source of truth for portfolio discussionDelivery Oversight & Risk ManagementTrack project/program health, schedule risk, scope change, dependency conflicts, resource constraints, vendor delivery, and recovery plans across the portfolioManage risk, dependency, issue,



and escalation workflows; expedite critical itemsfor senior leadership attentionEnsure material initiatives define business value, benefit owners, success metrics, adoption needs, and post-implementation validation approachBusiness Case & Value RealizationChallenge incomplete business cases, weak benefit logic, unsupported financial assumptions, missing sponsors, and unclear risk statements before senior forumsMake resource, funding, and sequencing trade-offs visible; present options and consequences rather than accepting every walk-in demandSupport benefits tracking and value realization across portfolio initiativesData & Decision PreparationPrepare decision-ready materials, executive summaries, and portfolio recovery plansCreate and maintain executive-ready portfolio dashboards and reporting materialsEnsure accurate, timely portfolio data to support leadership decision-makingThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What You Need10+ years of experience across portfolio management, program management, PMO leadership, technology delivery, or business transformationDemonstrated ability to govern USD 15M-25M technology or transformation portfolios, preferably across multiple programs and project teamsStrong experience managing CapEx, OpEx, budget, actuals, forecast, variance, funding approvals, business cases, AR/CAR processes, and benefits trackingExperience leading or matrix-managing multiple PMs/PgMs across complex delivery portfoliosExperience preparing executive-ready portfolio reports, senior leadership review materials, decision memos, and recovery plansStrong stakeholder management experience in general, matrixed organizations with ability to influence senior leaders without direct authorityExperience with portfolio systems (Planview, Clarity, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Jira, Power BI, or equivalent tools)Core Skills & CompetenciesExecutive communication and storytelling with dataAdvanced Excel, PowerPoint, and portfolio dashboarding capabilityFinancial analysis and portfolio variance explanationAOP planning, portfolio prioritization, and demand trade-off analysisProject/program delivery governance across waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodsRisk, dependency, issue, and escalation management expertisePM coaching, vendor coordination, and cross-functional leadershipAbility to work through imperfect data without creating false precisionPreferred QualificationsLife sciences, pharma, manufacturing, supply chain, clinical, quality/regulatory,
