The candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD. They will work closely with Craig to interpret architectural, engineering, and construction requirements and ensure all drawings are accurate, consistent, and aligned with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare accurate construction documentation, plans, layouts, and technical drawings
- Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction requirements
- Make revisions and updates to drawings based on project requirements and feedback
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, consistent, and aligned with project specifications
- Work closely with Craig to understand project requirements and deliver drawings within agreed timelines
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
- Assist with other drafting and construction documentation requirements as needed
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD (required)
- Revit (preferred for BIM and 3D modeling)
- SketchUp (preferred for conceptual design and visualization)
- Bluebeam Revu / Adobe Acrobat
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Google Workspace
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com
- Comfortable using Zoom or Microsoft Teams for remote collaboration
