Purpose
The System Reliability Engineering team focuses on enhancing System Reliability, Reliability Engineering, and Resilience across Global Corporate Functions. The team's specific mandate includes Google Cloud Platform engineering and the onboarding of applications to cloud infrastructure.
The Cloud Site Reliability Engineer Associate is an entry-level role responsible for contributing to the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications and infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform.
This position involves applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to support the development and operational lifecycle of services. The role will assist in building automation, developing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and implementing observability solutions to monitor system health. The objective is to help ensure that services meet their availability and performance targets by proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. Working within the Integral Corporate Functions SRE team, the associate will support the onboarding of new applications to the cloud and contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure as code and operational processes.
