Position Overview

Insight Expert Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Lawyer or experienced Paralegal to be our Medicolegal Report Writer to assist with preparing and drafting medicolegal reports using our established templates.

The person in this role will use company templates, medical records, referral documents, and case information to prepare and draft the report. The physician will provide all medical opinions, conclusions, causation opinions, impairment opinions, and final report review.

Key Responsibilities

- Use company templates to prepare and draft medicolegal reports.
- Review referral letters, medical records, claim documents, and case materials.
- Create or edit medical record summaries and chronological timelines.
- Enter accurate case details, including claimant information, date of injury, claim number, employer, referral source, and exam details.
- Draft factual sections of reports, including history, records reviewed, treatment summaries, diagnostic studies, and procedural history.
- Incorporate physician-provided opinions, dictation, and edits into the final report.
- Edit reports for grammar,



clarity, formatting, consistency, and professional tone.
- Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent information for physician review.
- Ensure reports are complete, organized, and ready for final physician review/signature.
- Assist with basic research, references, trackers, and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Experience as a lawyer, paralegal, legal assistant, medical-legal assistant, litigation assistant, medical record reviewer, or report writer preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable reviewing medical records and legal-style documents.
- Familiarity with workers’ compensation, personal injury, IMEs, peer reviews, medical chronologies, or life care plans is a plus.
- Ability to follow templates, checklists, and instructions carefully.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality with medical and legal records.

Pay: $800-$1000 US dollars/month
