About Our Client
Our client is a technology-focused organization seeking a Security Operations Engineer to support and strengthen its Microsoft Azure security infrastructure, cloud operations, and security automation capabilities.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Security Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure security, Infrastructure as Code, and security operations. The idóneo candidate will help design secure cloud environments, manage security monitoring and detection, and automate incident response workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure Azure infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft 365 Defender.
- Develop KQL queries and detection rules to identify and investigate security threats.
- Manage identity and access security using Entra ID, RBAC, and Conditional Access.
- Automate security workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Logic Apps.
- Support CI/CD security scanning and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep/ARM in Azure environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Entra ID.
- Proficiency in KQL and scripting with PowerShell and/or Python.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and security scanning.
- Security certifications such as AZ-500 or SC-200 are a plus.
