Our client is a technology-focused organization seeking an experienced Jira Administrator / Developer to provide ongoing administration, customization, and technical support for its Jira environment following the completion of a major migration.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Jira Administrator / Developer with strong experience managing and customizing Jira applications and projects. This is an ongoing, part-time opportunity for someone who can maintain, optimize, and enhance the Jira environment based on evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Jira applications, projects, workflows, and configurations.
- Customize Jira projects and applications to support business requirements.
- Develop and optimize JQL queries and manage JDBC integrations.
- Configure and maintain third-party plugins and integrations.
- Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing technical support.
- Document configurations and recommend improvements to the Jira environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Jira Administrator, Jira Developer, or Atlassian Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Jira administration, project customization, and workflows.
- Proficiency in JQL and familiarity with JDBC.
- Experience managing third-party plugins and integrations.
- Strong understanding of user, group, and permission management.
- Ability to work independently and provide ongoing part-time support.
