with strong English communication skills and experience migrating
applications . This is a remote opportunity for professionals based
in LATAM , working in EST hours . You’ll join an international
project of approximately 5 months focused on application migration
, collaborating with a Canadian fintech client and distributed
teams. The initial focus of the project will be migrating
applications from an older version of Node.js that is approaching
end of support to a newer, supported version . After the migration
is completed, you’ll continue working with the team, providing
ongoing support and maintenance for the applications running on the
new Node.js version . The main technology stack is Node.js for the
backend, MongoDB for storage, and React for the frontend . This
opportunity is idóneo for a senior developer who can bring strong
Node.js expertise , proactively identify potential issues, and take
ownership of technical challenges throughout the migration and
post-migration phases. What You'll Lead and Build Contribute to the
migration and modernization of existing applications . Upgrade
applications from an older Node.js version to a newer, supported
version . Identify and resolve compatibility issues, dependencies,
and technical challenges related to the Node.js upgrade. Provide
ongoing support and maintenance after the migration , working with
the applications in the new Node.js environment. Develop and
maintain backend solutions using Node.js . Work with MongoDB for
data storage. Develop and maintain frontend applications using
React . Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams
throughout the migration and post-migration phases. Proactively
identify chal
