We are looking for an experienced Carrier Sales professional with a strong background in Drayage and transportation operations. This role focuses on carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, relationship management, and securing capacity for drayage shipments.
Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate rates with carriers for drayage loads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
- Secure capacity and ensure timely coverage of shipments.
- Negotiate competitive rates based on market conditions and load requirements.
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to coordinate shipments.
- Identify and resolve operational or capacity-related issues.
- Support team performance and contribute to a high-performance environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Carrier Sales - Drayage (required).
- Previous leadership experience (required).
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working directly with carriers.
- Solid knowledge of Drayage transportation operations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
