About the company
the company’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
the company's Safeguards team is responsible for enforcing our policies, protecting users, and ensuring our platform is not misused. A large and growing share of Claude usage reaches customers through our cloud partners: Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform, and Microsoft Foundry.
As the Enforcement Operations Lead for Multi-Cloud, you'll own how the company detects, reviews, and acts on misuse across those surfaces, where the partner owns the customer relationship and often the data path. You'll build the operating model, partner agreements, and documentation that make enforcement on every cloud consistent, auditable, and fast.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and capable of coordinating across teams and companies to break new ground and drive work to completion. This work is deeply cross-functional. You'll partner closely with our product managers, policy experts, Safeguards engineering, Legal, and the trust & safety and operations teams across our Cloud partners to maintain a consistent and safe enforcement ecosystem.

- Develop and maintain SOPs and escalation guides for all enforcement workflows, ensuring consistency across clouds
- Establish red-teaming, Quality processes, and operationalize shared metrics
- Stand up paired investigations with partner threat intelligence teams, including case referrals, indicator sharing, and paging for high severity incidents
- Own enforcement metrics across partner surfaces and report them to Safeguards leadership, partners, and regulators
Minimum qualifications
- Extensive experience in trust and safety operations, enforcement, threat intelligence, or a related field
- Have managed external partner or vendor relationships where you did not control the other side's systems or priorities
- Comfortable working across policy, legal, engineering, and operations teams to translate requirements into practical workflows
- Experience building enforcement programs from the ground up, including SLAs, escalation paths, and quality measurement
- Highly organized, with a track record of maintaining rigorous documentation and SOPs in fast-moving environments
- Clear and precise communication, both in writing and verbally, across technical and non-technical audiences, including partner executives
- Energized by the challenge of building scalable systems in an environment where not everything is already figured out
- Care deeply about the responsible deployment of AI and the role enforcement operations plays in that mission
Preferred qualifications
- Direct trust & safety, abuse, or security operations experience at AWS, GCP, or Azure, or at a company that ships through their marketplaces
- Experience designing incident response or escalation processes that span more than one company
