SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 8–15+ Years Location: Colombia Function: SAP Finance / ERP About the Role We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions. The idóneo candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, finance integrations, data migration, testing, and go-live activities, along with a solid understanding of Colombian statutory and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities - Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with Finance, Controlling, Tax, and business stakeholders.

- Design and configure SAP FI processes covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Design and validate end‑to‑end integrations between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP, and third‑party systems.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
- Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams throughout development, testing, and transport cycles.
- Lead data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration of master and transactional data.
- Work with migration technologies such as LSMW, BDC, DTM, IDocs, and modern ETL approaches.
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT activities.
- Prepare test plans, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Support cutover, go‑live, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Ensure SAP Finance solutions comply with Colombian statutory, tax, and reporting requirements.
- Provide expertise in VAT, withholding tax,



e‑invoicing, and DIAN compliance.
- Establish governance around change management, release management, configuration documentation, process flows, and policies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to S/4HANA Finance initiatives involving Universal Journal, New GL, and Central Finance.
- Provide project status updates and maintain effective communication with business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications - 8+ years of overall SAP FI/CO experience.

- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP FI modules and finance processes.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- Experience integrating SAP FI/CO with MM, SD, PP, and external systems.
- Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP data migration and functional validation.
- Experience with testing, UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare support.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP/technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of Colombian finance and tax localization, including DIAN, VAT, withholding tax, and e‑invoicing.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead functional teams.

Preferred Skills - SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience.

- Knowledge of Universal Journal / ACDOCA.
- Experience with New GL and Central Finance.
- Experience with LSMW, BDC, IDocs, DTM, or ETL‑based migration approaches.
- Experience leading SAP Finance transformation or optimization initiatives.
- Previous experience working on Colombia‑based SAP projects.
