ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Director of Sales – Latin America to lead our sales strategy, business development, and revenue growth across the Latin American market.

This is a senior regional leadership position responsible for developing and executing the Latin America commercial strategy, expanding key markets, building strategic partnerships, driving B2B and travel-trade business, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across the hospitality portfolio.

The Regional Director of Sales will lead relationships with corporate accounts, MICE agencies, DMCs, PCOs, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, strategic partners, and major hospitality stakeholders across the region.

The adecuado candidate is an established hospitality sales leader with strong regional market knowledge, an extensive Latin American network, proven commercial results, and experience managing complex multi-market sales strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRegional Sales Strategy &

• Leadership

- Develop and implement the overall Latin America sales and commercial strategy in line with company growth objectives.
- Establish regional sales targets, market priorities, account strategies, and business development plans.
- Identify high-potential countries, cities, customer segments, and source markets for growth.
- Develop market-entry strategies for new destinations and territories.
- Monitor regional economic, tourism, hospitality, and competitive trends.
- Provide senior management with regular commercial insights, forecasts, and recommendations.

Revenue Growth &

• Business Development

- Own regional sales revenue, business development, and commercial performance.
- Drive new business across corporate, leisure, group, MICE, wholesale, travel trade, and strategic B2B segments.
- Develop and manage a high-value regional sales pipeline.
- Identify and convert major commercial opportunities into long-term revenue.
- Develop strategic initiatives to increase room nights, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, group revenue, and total hotel revenue.
- Establish measurable sales targets and performance standards across assigned markets.

Strategic Account &

• Partnership Development





- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers at key regional and international accounts.
- Develop strategic partnerships with DMCs, PCOs, travel management companies, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, OTAs, airlines, tourism boards, and corporate organizations.
- Lead negotiations for major commercial agreements, preferred partnerships, contracts, and regional deals.
- Develop long-term strategic accounts that generate consistent and profitable business.

MICE &

• Group Business

- Drive regional Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) and group business.
- Build relationships with international event agencies, incentive houses, PCOs, DMCs, and corporate event planners.
- Identify major conferences, incentive programs, group movements, and corporate travel opportunities.
- Develop regional sales strategies to increase group room nights and event revenue.

Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging hospitality markets across Latin America.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence covering competitors, customer behavior, tourism flows, distribution channels, and market demand.
- Lead regional sales missions and market-development initiatives.
- Represent the company at major international trade shows, tourism events, MICE exhibitions, sales missions, and industry conferences.

Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop regional sales teams and commercial representatives.
- Establish sales KPIs, performance standards, targets, and reporting structures.
- Support recruitment and development of sales talent across key markets.
- Build a high-performance, commercially focused regional sales culture.
- Ensure consistent implementation of sales strategies, account management standards, and CRM practices.

Commercial &

• Financial Management

- Develop annual sales budgets, forecasts, and commercial plans.




- Monitor regional performance against revenue targets, room nights, ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, account production, and profitability.
- Analyze sales performance and implement corrective strategies where required.
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and General Management.
- Ensure commercial activities deliver sustainable and profitable revenue rather than volume alone.

Executive Reporting
- Prepare regular regional sales and commercial performance reports for senior leadership.
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Present market opportunities, risks, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations.
- Track regional KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Tourism, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel sales, hospitality commercial management, regional sales, business development, or tourism.
- Previous experience in a Regional Director of Sales, Director of Sales, Regional Sales Director, Area Director of Sales, Commercial Director, or senior hospitality sales leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multiple countries, markets, properties, or territories.
- Strong knowledge of the Latin American hospitality, tourism, travel, and MICE markets.
- Established network across corporate accounts, DMCs, PCOs, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, MICE, and strategic B2B partners.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding commercial targets.
- Experience developing regional sales strategies and market-entry plans.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management, distribution, market segmentation, ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and profitability.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- Experience managing and developing sales teams across multiple markets.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Advanced CRM, sales reporting, forecasting, and data-analysis skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Latin America and internationally.
- Fluent Spanish and English required.
