Join us as a Principal System Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver transformative solutions to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical depth with customer engagement, designing architectures that power the energy transition and digital transformation.

What will you do?

- Contribute to business growth by achieving Power &
- Process objectives for Heavy Industries across South America through the development of strategic opportunities and customer engagement.
- Act as the Technical Sales Consultant and trusted advisor for Power &
- Process solutions within Mining, Minerals &
- Metals, Energy &
- Chemicals, as Heavy Industries segments.
- Support regional Sales teams in identifying, qualifying, developing, and advancing P&P; opportunities combining process automation, electrical power systems, industrial software, and digital transformation solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and customer workshops to understand business challenges and define value-driven solutions.
- Develop and validate solution architectures for Power &
- Process combining Process Automation, Power Management, Industrial Information Systems, AVEVA software, ETAP, and Schneider Electric technologies.
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including solution definition, architecture development, sizing, risk assessment, and value articulation.
- Serve as a technical authority during opportunity development, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric standards, offers, and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with regional and general business units, offer managers, delivery organizations, and Centers of Excellence to build competitive and differentiated solutions.
- Engage directly with customers, consultants, EPCs, system integrators, and end users throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
- Promote the adoption of innovative technologies, combining Power &
- Process, with software-defined automation, industrial digitalization, advanced analytics, simulation, and IT/OT convergence.
- Provide visibility on market trends, competitive activities, customer requirements, and strategic opportunities within assigned industries and geographies.
- Support technical marketing initiatives, customer events, seminars, webinars, and industry conferences.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical enablement across sales teams and partner organizations.
- Identify technical, commercial, and execution risks and work proactively to develop mitigation strategies.
- Drive collaboration between Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Business Units to maximize customer value and business outcomes.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Schneider Electric's Power &
- Process portfolio and its application within Heavy Industries.

Who will you report to?

- Heavy Industries Sales Director (South America) or Heavy Industries Regional Strategic Segments Leaders.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role? A recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Control, Automatic Control, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is desirable.

- 10+ years of experience in process control and power systems automation.
- Proven experience supporting technical sales, business development, solution consulting, or pre-sales activities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, DCS, PLCs, electrical SCADA, industrial networks, and operational technologies.
- Experience with industrial software platforms, including engineering, operations, performance, analytics, simulation, or digital twin solutions.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, power management, protection, or energy management solutions is a strong advantage.
- Experience in Mining, Minerals &
- Metals, Energy, Chemicals, or similar industrial sectors.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Portuguese is desirable.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent technical writing, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
