We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Product Designer for a project-based engagement to design the MVP of a new Shopify-embedded application.

The product will help ecommerce merchants understand store performance by analyzing business and customer data and turning it into a clear score, prioritized findings, estimated business impact, and recommended actions.

A Product Brief is being finalized and will define the MVP scope, product rules, required features, scoring behavior, data states, and business requirements. We are looking for a designer who can take that product definition and turn it into a clear, intuitive product experience.

This role requires strong experience designing real digital products, particularly web or mobile applications. Experience designing embedded applications or products that operate within a larger platform ecosystem is highly valued.

What You'll Work OnThe MVP is expected to include experiences such as:

- Merchant onboarding.
- Store-data analysis and processing states.
- Audit/scoring results.
- Findings and recommendations.
- Business-impact and opportunity reporting.
- Dashboard and data visualization experiences included in the final MVP scope.
- Different states based on data availability and confidence.

The final feature and screen scope will be confirmed before the project is awarded. What We Need From YouYou should be comfortable owning the UX/UI process from requirements through developer handoff, including:
- Reviewing the Product Brief and identifying UX questions, gaps, or inconsistencies.
- Creating detailed user flows.
- Defining information architecture and navigation.
- Producing wireframes.
- Designing high-fidelity interfaces in Figma.
- Creating an interactive prototype.
- Designing relevant loading, empty, unavailable, error,



and data-confidence states.
- Creating reusable components and design patterns.
- Preparing organized, developer-ready Figma files.
- Working collaboratively with the Product Owner, Project Manager, and development team.
- Explaining and defending design decisions based on user needs, usability, and product requirements rather than visual preference alone.

We want a designer who can simplify a data-heavy product. Showing more charts and metrics is not the goal. The product needs to help merchants quickly understand what matters, why it matters, and what they should do next. Adecuado ExperiencePlease apply if you have strong experience with:

Shopify embedded-app design experience is strongly preferred.

Project StructureThis will be a project-based engagement rather than an ongoing full-time position.

We are currently finalizing the MVP Product Brief. We are beginning the candidate-selection process now and will provide the final scope to shortlisted designers before requesting a final project estimate.

The Product Owner will provide the product purpose, MVP requirements, business rules, scoring logic, required content, and product constraints. The designer will be responsible for translating those requirements into an effective product experience and identifying UX assumptions or gaps that should be challenged before development.
