What You Can Expect

The Global Reporting Analyst will support the centralized data management and reporting function within Zimmer Biomet’s global FP&A; organization. The role focuses on developing scalable systems for extracting, transforming, and loading information (ETL) and supporting data solutions, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve the quality, automation, and scalability of financial reporting. The Analyst will work primarily with SQL and Python in Snowflake to prepare and transform data, develop analytical solutions, monitor data quality, and contribute to data science and AI initiatives. The role will collaborate with FP&A; and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, validate results, and translate financial and operational questions into reliable data-driven solutions.

How You'll Create Impact

• Support the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data processes using SQL and Python in Snowflake.

- Collaborate directly with the Power BI team to build, optimize, and enhance financial dashboards. Provide support on data modeling, DAX logic, and the integration of Python/ML outputs directly into Power BI reporting.
- Prepare, clean, transform, and validate structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.
- Perform data quality checks, investigate data discrepancies, and support root-cause analysis and remediation.




- Develop analytical solutions and reusable datasets that support global FP&A; reporting, planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Contribute to data science initiatives, including exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and development or evaluation of predictive models.
- Support the development of AI and machine-learning solutions for reporting, data analysis, process automation, and decision support.
- Assist in developing AI-enabled capabilities such as intelligent reporting, data interpretation, anomaly detection, and automated analytical insights.
- Apply appropriate data science and software engineering practices to improve the reliability, scalability, testing, and maintainability of analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with FP&A; and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, validate results, and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, transformations, analytical logic, models, and processes.
- Support the monitoring and continuous improvement of data pipelines, analytical models, and AI solutions in production.
- Perform ad hoc financial and data analysis, providing clear findings and supporting recommendations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase data quality, transparency, automation, and efficiency across global reporting processes.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and ML libraries) and experience in cloud data environments (preferably Snowflake).

- Understanding of data engineering concepts, including pipelines, data models, testing, monitoring, and data quality.
- Strong ability to design, build, test, and maintain robust ETL pipelines, data transformation workflows, and feature datasets.





• Ability to build, model, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards, including DAX, data flows, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.

- Knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, AI agents, and AI-enabled analytical applications.
- Ability to analyze data, identify patterns and anomalies, and communicate findings clearly.

• Ability to translate business and financial questions into structured analytical or data requirements.

- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in business languages.

- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a proven ability to work constructively within agile, cross-functional technical and business teams.

Your Background

- Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

3 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, data science, data engineering or a related discipline.

Portfolio showcasing end-to-end Data Science / AI projects and Power BI dashboards. (Desirable)

- Preferred Education/Experience: Master’s degree in AI Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering or related field.

Exposure to financial analysis, FP&A;, or financial reporting.

- English: C1.
