AI & Automation Operations Specialist — Remote, Colombia

Pay: COP 5,300,000–8,000,000 per month (approximately $10–$15 USD per hour)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, aligned with U.S. Pacific Time
Location: Remote, Colombia

About the Role

Kitajima Insurance is a growing U.S.-based insurance agency with approximately 30 remote team members in Colombia and 30 employees at our Southern California office.

We are seeking a resourceful technology and automation specialist to work closely with agency leadership. You will turn business ideas into practical solutions using AI, automation tools, Google Workspace, and other business software while coordinating with managers, developers, and technology vendors.

This is not a software-engineering or data-science position. It is a hands-on role for someone who learns technology quickly, works independently, and follows projects through completion.

Responsibilities
- Implement and improve AI phone, SMS, and WhatsApp workflows
- Build CRM workflows, forms, tags, and automations
- Create Google Sheets reports, dashboards, formulas,



and automated processes
- Build simple Google Sites pages for company reporting
- Connect systems using Make, Zapier, n8n, APIs, or webhooks
- Test and troubleshoot automations and integrations
- Coordinate projects with developers and technology vendors
- Document new systems and train team members
- Identify processes that can be simplified or automated
- Manage special projects and provide leadership with reliable progress updates

Qualifications
- Professional written and spoken English and Spanish are required
- Strong Google Sheets skills, including formulas and data organization
- Experience with automation platforms, AI tools, or CRM systems
- Google Apps Script experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, phone systems, SMS, or WhatsApp integrations is helpful
- Strong research, troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
