Role Description The Anesthesiologist – Stemwell Clinic role at DNA GTx LAB is a full-time, on-site position based in Bogota, D.C. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for patients undergoing procedures at Stemwell Clinic, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, selection of appropriate anesthetic techniques, intraoperative management, and postoperative recovery oversight. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams, monitoring patient status and vital signs, managing pain and sedation, and responding to perioperative emergencies when required.

The Anesthesiologist will also contribute to quality improvement,



support adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols, and maintain detailed, accurate medical documentation aligned with institutional and regulatory standards. Participation in continuous education, case reviews, and integration of genomic and precision medicine insights into perioperative care is encouraged.

Qualifications

- Clinical expertise in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine, with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, patient-centered anesthesia care.

- Experience or familiarity with surgery and pain management, including acute and chronic pain control in a multidisciplinary setting.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with critical care nursing and other clinical teams to manage patients with complex conditions.

- Valid medical degree and specialization in anesthesiology; active or eligible license/registration to practice in Colombia.

- Strong skills in clinical decision-making, patient assessment, and the use of modern monitoring and anesthesia technologies.

- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and openness to integrating genomics and precision medicine into care pathways.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work inclusively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.

- Prior experience in a surgical clinic, hospital, or advanced care setting is highly beneficial; research or academic involvement is a plus.
