The Role: Sr. Accountant, Revenue

The Revenue Accounting team is seeking an experienced accountant to deliver high-quality work that meets broader team objectives with minimal oversight and direction. This person will apply their foundational knowledge and skills to contribute to innovative solutions in a team environment that is focused on higher-level analysis, exception handling, and issue resolution.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue cycle accounting with an end-to-end focus. This role prioritizes analytical review, application of accounting judgment, and control oversight across the order-to-cash lifecycle, with emphasis on application of ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition and ASC 326 - CECL.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Cycle Accounting & Close
- Own GL accounting for Accounts Receivable, contract assets, contract liabilities and related transactions including write-offs and adjustments
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Perform analytical review and variance analysis
- Prepare analysis for current expected credit losses (CECL/ASC 326) & engagement delivery concessions reserve
- Manage rebate accruals, reconciliations and settlements
- Ensure estimates are well-supported and audit-ready
Contract Review
- Review customer contracts under the ASC 606 five-step model
- Prepare collectability assessments at contract inception
- Partner with engagement and pursuit teams to document credit risk responses, develop mitigations, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
O2C Assurance
