Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role supports the day-to-day accounting operations of Allied Steel Buildings, working closely with teams in Colombia and the United States. The ideal candidate has previous experience supporting U.S.-based companies, a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, and the ability to communicate professionally in English.

What You'll Do
- Record and post daily financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reclassifications, and recurring entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.




- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Review vendor invoices, payment applications, and customer billing activities.
- Generate customer invoices and maintain project billing schedules.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable aging reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Prepare audit schedules and support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A;, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations teams.
- Participate in process improvement and accounting system optimization initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Contaduría Pública).
- 2-3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based companies or U.S. operations is highly preferred.
