Title: FP&A; Junior Analyst
Contract Details: Full-time, remote
Howard Financial is a leading financial services company that provides a wide range of financial solutions to clients across the globe. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated FP&A; Junior Analyst to join our team on a full-time, remote basis.
As an FP&A; Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) team in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision making and drive business growth. You will work closely with the FP&A; team to analyze financial data, create financial reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for management and stakeholders
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision making
- Help in the development and maintenance of financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
- Identify and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities to management
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance
- Support the FP&A; team in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with financial planning and analysis software is a plus
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards is preferred
