The Qualifications We Seek
Required Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience administering NetSuite, including at least 2 years supporting a manufacturing or wholesale distribution account involving work orders, lots, bins, and inventory commitments
- Experience with multi-subsidiary NetSuite OneWorld environments, including an understanding of the account-wide impact of system settings
- Strong proficiency in SuiteFlow, saved searches, custom records, custom fields, and custom forms
- Working knowledge of SuiteQL
- Hands-on experience with a field service management solution integrated with NetSuite, with NextService strongly preferred
- Experience managing sandbox and production changes alongside a developer team using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
- Ability to read script logs and distinguish configuration issues from code defects
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite Administrator certification, with SuiteFoundation certification at minimum
- Experience administering OAuth 2.0 machine-to-machine integrations and REST Web Services access
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript, including the ability to review deployment records and understand the behavior of user-event scripts
- Experience with Advanced NetSuite functionality
Your Daily Tasks
Account Ownership & Governance
- Administer production and sandbox as separate, strictly governed environments
- Own the sandbox refresh cycle and maintain sandbox-first change discipline, ensuring no changes reach production without a tested and approved deployment path
- Manage change processes for SDF deployments alongside developers
- Review deployment scope and identify account-wide side effects,
including role changes, preferred-form changes, and workflow releases, before they affect other subsidiaries
- Maintain the multi-subsidiary structure, including item and record sharing across subsidiaries, subsidiary-specific forms and preferences, and intercompany hygiene
- Test each NetSuite release preview twice annually against customizations and partner bundles
- Document regressions and coordinate required fixes
Roles, Permissions & Access
- Design and maintain custom roles according to least-privilege principles, including scoped integration roles for machine-to-machine API access
- Conduct periodic user-access reviews using the User Access health dashboard
- Own user onboarding and offboarding processes
- Manage integration records, OAuth 2.0 client-credential configurations, and certificate lifecycles for API integrations
- Assess permission ceilings and associated risks, including account-wide CSV import permissions that require governance decisions
Configuration & Automation
- Build and maintain custom records, fields, custom segments, forms, per-form field-label overrides, and sublists
- Own SuiteFlow workflows, including approval flows, field-sourcing backstops, state-gated transaction buttons, and display-type rules that control fields or values by subsidiary
- Build saved searches, SuiteAnalytics workbooks, and SuiteQL-backed reports for operations, sales, and finance
- Manage more than 90 CSV import definitions for items, price books, customers, and transactions
- Prepare and validate import files and resolve name-matching issues involving hierarchy separators and entity display names
- Administer the item master, including matrix and lot-numbered inventory items, item groups with member pricing, special price lists, builder price books, and system-generated SKU governance
FSM / NextService Administration
- Administer the NextService field-service bundle, including technician and crew records, field-service regions, task types, and asset and case configurations
- Own scheduler and mobile configurations, including dispatch board setup, mobile forms and filters, and project assignability rules
- Diagnose resource-allowance settings and other configuration issues that may prevent assignments
- Coordinate with the developer team on the in-house scheduling board and mobile Suitelets that extend NextService
- Maintain task-type mappings between project tasks and field-service management records
Operations Support
- Support daily manufacturing and warehouse workflows, including work orders, production runs, lot and bin management, bin putaway worksheets for first-bin assignments, inventory commitments, and fulfillment exceptions
- Diagnose stuck transactions using Health Hub diagnostic dashboards for sales-order lifecycles, project tasks, tax calculations, and customer states
- Review script execution logs and route confirmed defects to developers with clear reproduction steps
- Manage partner-built customizations from Myers-Holum, PARA, and NextService
- Identify the ownership and operational impact of each partner-built customization
- Monitor partner user-event scripts for conflicts and coordinate vendor fixes
- Train and support end users across sales, order entry, production, field crews, and accounting
