Role Description




The Sales Service Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting prospective and existing commercial and trucking insurance clients through the full sales and service cycle. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, explaining coverage options, assisting with quotes, applications, renewals, and endorsements, and ensuring clients understand policy terms, limits, and exclusions. The role involves maintaining accurate client records, following up on leads, coordinating with underwriting and carrier partners, and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen coverage or reduce risk. The Sales Service Representative will communicate regularly via phone, email, and virtual meetings, deliver clear and professional customer service, and contribute to meeting team sales and retention goals. This position also supports client education by simplifying complex insurance concepts and providing guidance in alignment with Houtmart’s education-first approach.
